EVENT DETAILS
Come and see for yourself how to ride your motorcycle the way it was intended! You may have heard about track days, heard the myths, heard the hype… now it’s time to ride on a closed course racetrack with expertly trained instructors showing you the way. Whether you’ve just purchased your first motorcycle, have been riding the streets for years, or have experience on a racetrack, track days are all about improving your skills and learning how to ride your motorcycle to the fullest.
Participants will be supported with expert coaching courtesy of N2 Track Days. There will be 3 groups (Street AM or PM / Novice / Intermediate) and each group will have 20-minute sessions. The track will be hot from 9AM – 5PM. The Novice & Intermediate Groups will require full leathers with a back protector along with a DOT helmet, gauntlet gloves and over ankle boots. The Street Group will only require, an approved riding jacket, DOT helmet, over the wrist gloves, long pants and over ankle boots.
The Street AM or PM Group is intended for a rider that has never been on a closed course racetrack before. This is a great opportunity to "Try the Track" for the first time at a fraction of the cost. Riders will ride their own motorcycle on the track in a "Parade Lap" fashion while following the control rider in front of them. Since full leathers are not required for this group, there will be no passing allowed. Based on availability, riders can signup to demo ride a Yamaha on the track during 1 of their 3 sessions in this group. Demo bikes are limited and are first come, first served. So, be sure to signup for your demo ride EARLY! The Novice and Intermediate Groups will be run like a typical track day.
All riders should plan to arrive at the track by 7am (Street PM by 11:00AM) in order to get through tech inspection as quickly as possible. All rider MUST complete the online digital waiver prior to arriving.
Do you own a Yamaha and are you a bLU cRU member? If not, you can signup using the link below and it's FREE. You do not have to be a racer and signup for Race Contingency. Simply select - NON RACER - at the bottom of the RIDER INFORMATION page and finish the signup process. A limited # of Yamaha owners that are bLU cRU members attending this event will be eligible for a small gift.
