This group is intended for street riders that have never been on a racetrack before and do not have all of the required safety gear to ride a full day. NOVICE (Sold Out)

If you don't have any prior track day experience, you must register in the Novice group, NO EXCEPTIONS! This group is very structured and geared toward those who have little or no experience riding on a racetrack. A brief classroom session gets participants acquainted with the track, basic rules, procedures, and track etiquette. On the track, Control Riders serve as instructors and set the pace. Passing is allowed except in the corners. With each session, the group will experience a steady increase in speed throughout the day.

INTERMEDIATE (Sold Out)

This group is less supervised and is structured like the Novice group but at a much faster pace. Control Riders observe riding ability and encourage riders to work on their form and technique. Passing is allowed everywhere except the inside of corners. The structure of this group may change to more closely resemble either an Advanced or Novice group, depending on the group’s overall riding ability.

7am - 8am: Registration & Tech Inspection are open

8am: Mandatory Riders Meeting (1pm for Street PM Group). ALL riders must attend to ride

9am: Track is hot - Intermediate on track, followed by Novice then Street AM

12pm: 1 hour break for lunch

1pm: Street PM Riders Meeting

1pm: Track is hot - Intermediate on track, followed by Novice then Street PM

5pm: Track shuts down

Is there an Advanced Group?

Unfortunately, there will not be an Advanced Rider Group at this event.

What is the difference between the Street AM or PM Group vs the Novice & Intermediate Group?

The Street AM or PM Group is intended for an individual that has never been on a closed course racetrack before. This is a great opportunity to "Try the Track" for the first time at a fraction of the cost. Full leathers are not required, therefore there will be no passing allowed. Riders can select to ride 3 sessions on their motorcycle in the morning or 3 sessions in the afternoon.

Novice and Intermediate will run like a typical track day. These groups will run all day and do require the mandatory riding gear. 

How do I demo a Yamaha on the track?

In order to demo a Yamaha on the track, you must be a participant of the track day. Simply go to the Yamaha registration tent with your drivers license.

Who can come?

All makes and models are welcome to attend. 

We welcome all levels of riders new and experienced to come out. However, we will not be teaching people how to ride for the first time.

What do I need to bring with me?

Your motorcycle, full leathers (2-piece suites are ok if they zip together), back protector, over the ankle boots, gauntlet gloves and approved full face helmet, extra fuel and some beverages. All riding gear must be in good condition with no damage to it. Street Group - DOT helmet, riding jacket, long pants, over the wrist gloves and ankle high boots.

Will there be any riding gear provided or available to rent?

No, but please check with the dealer your are registering with for options.

Will there be tech inspection before we go on the track?

Yes, all bikes must pass tech before they can enter the track. Upon completing registration, a safety inspection of your motorcycle will be performed before it is allowed on the track. We HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment with your registering dealer's service team to have your motorcycle inspected prior to arriving. There is nothing more frustrating than failing tech and not being able to ride.

When is lunch?

We will break for lunch from 12pm to 1pm. Please check with the track on available food vendors or be prepared to provide your own meals for the break.

What if it rains?

Unfortunately, with the limited number of days available and the resources being pulled in, this is a rain or shine event. NO REFUNDS regardless of the weather will be given.

Track Demo Ride requirements:

18 years of age: MT-07 & R7

21 years of age: MT09 and R1

Demo rides will only be conducted in the Street & Novice Group. There will be a lead and chase rider. No passing will be allowed in either group.

Demo models and availability are subject to change and are available on a first come, first served bases. To signup, bring your driver license to the Yamaha signup tent. You must be participating in the track day to demo ride a Yamaha.

GoPro cameras are not permitted on the demo ride.
